This year, too, has been dedicated to building: diligently and successfully, we consistently developed brands, community, knowledge, and a profitable online presence. In our latest, and this year's final, blog post, we've compiled our 2025 successes and achievements that we look back on with true pride. Behind these stands a very special and enthusiastic team of experts, and we are incredibly grateful for the work of every single team member.

Our Professional Achievements and Recognitions
Recent Professional Milestones: Meta Expert Certifications
This year, our PPC team gained two new certified recognitions from Meta – our specialists obtained both the Media Buying Professional and Media Planning Professional certifications.
In practice, this means they successfully completed a rigorous exam that measures a wide range of skills and knowledge, which requires not only thorough preparation, but also a deep understanding of Meta's advertising system, based on several years of experience.
This high level of practical knowledge and experience guarantees that we can support our Clients with truly effective strategies that adapt to market and economic changes, and provide Facebook and Instagram ads that are not hastily put together or based on “instinct,” but rather on conscious planning.
If you're curious about the goals we've already helped achieve with professional online advertising campaigns, check out our PPC case studies page, where we write in more detail about the tools we use, our Clients' challenges and our solutions to them, and the strategy planning process. :)
Financial Stability
While we continuously develop ourselves professionally in the diverse fields of online marketing, it is also a crucial cornerstone of our operations that Selector is a financially stable and reliable business partner – as this is the only way we can provide truly long-term support to our Clients.
We are proud that the international company Dun & Bradstreet recognizes this year after year – this year, they also examined us and awarded Selector the most financially reliable, AAA rating.
This rating is just as important to us as our professional recognitions, as it proves that we're not just talking when we say our partners can count on us long-term.
Aleph Partnership
This year, we launched our collaboration with Aleph Holding, who are, among others, the official Google Ads sales partners in Hungary.
Thanks to this, for managing Google ads, we can now provide our Clients with direct, local expert support, strategic advice, and optimization suggestions from a Google-approved international team.
Through Aleph Hungary, our advertising portfolio continues to expand: ad placements will become available to our clients on platforms such as Pinterest, Reddit, TikTok, Spotify, Snapchat, and many other channels.
This year, we are also closing a strong year in website development
Although Selector is primarily known as a marketing agency, this year we once again proved our expertise in web development.
This year, we delivered 11 websites to our clients – almost one per month on average. We implemented everything from pharmaceutical products and job search portals for healthcare professionals to websites for technology and construction companies, and single-page landing sites.
Several of our projects can already be viewed among our website development references where we also detail how we combine technical knowledge with a marketing approach, and how this creates value for our clients.
New services in the spirit of rapid adaptation and continuous development
The digital world is constantly changing, and market demands evolve day by day. As a marketing agency we not only follow online trends but also actively explore new opportunities and continuously educate ourselves in the most important areas. Online visibility and success require effective brand building, precise use of web analytics, and the efficient utilization of various task management and AI tools, which not only speed up daily work but also enhance the quality of its results. (No, we're not suggesting AI will replace graphic designers – we certainly don't foresee that happening anytime soon...)
Our new services aim to help our clients also react quickly to the changing market environment, while consciously and effectively build their brand, and make the most of digital tools.
0. GEO - Generative SEO
As a foundational point, we must mention GEO, which is essentially built on the foundations of SEO, or classic search engine optimization – or is it not?
Our SEO manager, Csenge, has already thoroughly explored this topic in a blog post, writing about how AI is transforming search engine optimization and online revenue models, and what to expect in the future.
One thing is certain: buckle up, do everything to obtain the most accurate data possible, and strive to be perceived as a reliable brand by AI. It's no coincidence that we have also shaped our renewed services accordingly.
1. Web Analytics Audit and Setup
We repeatedly emphasize that data alone holds no value – we can only extract valuable insights if we collect and analyze it systematically.
During our web analytics audits , we assess website measurement systems, identify shortcomings, and create customized settings that clearly show what works, what doesn't, and where further growth potential lies.
The right analytics settings are essential for measuring campaign impact and effectiveness, and for making optimization recommendations based on data-driven decisions.
2. Brand Workshops
For today's entrepreneurs, it's no longer news that a brand is more than just a logo and a slogan – it's a sum of experiences, values, and messages that builds a connection with the target audience.
During the workshops developed by our Account team, we collaborate with our Clients to create strategies and messages that authentically represent their company's values and build their brand's strength long-term.
We have explored this topic multiple times in our posts, for example, we created an animation about the superpower of precisely understanding the customer journey, we wrote about the process of persona creation, and we even examined why off-brand, desperate trend-following resembles Eve in a fig-leaf outfit jumping into a fiery red convertible…
3. ClickUp Consulting
In the areas mentioned above, we can only achieve such rapid progress thanks to effective project management and teamwork, the key to which lies in well-structured processes.
As a Certified ClickUp Consultant (Verified ClickUp Consultant) and with several power users on our team, we help customize the platform, optimize and automate workflows, and ensure that every team member can perform their work as smoothly as possible.
This not only boosts efficiency but also makes collaborative work more transparent and stress-free – whether it's managing marketing processes, daily schedules, time tracking, creating timelines, or handling customer service and bug reports – to name just a few examples.

AI: Our Everyday Colleague
With the accelerating digital world, AI is no longer a futuristic tool but an integral part of our daily work. At Selector, we view it as a true colleague: it helps us perform routine tasks more efficiently, speeds up workflows, and provides opportunities for continuous self-improvement.
In our dedicated Slack channel, we constantly share the latest AI tricks and tips with each other, as we test and explore the capabilities and limits of various tools day by day.
Of course, we know that many still envision a marketing professional with an evil laugh secretly having ChatGPT write all their ad copy. However, that's not how we use AI. While we do create texts, visual materials, or even meeting minutes with generative AI, human oversight and rationale are always involved. A Performance Max campaign couldn't even launch, let alone operate successfully, without human supervision and strategic thinking.

So, for us, AI doesn't replace creativity or expertise; it works alongside us. It helps quickly organize data, supports SEO optimization, and even complements our work in the form of personalized GPT models.
#m1-y#We always make the final decision – AI ensures the team can focus on work that provides real added value.##
Community, Culture, Attractiveness: Our HR Achievements in Numbers
As we mentioned in the introduction, the key to Selector's success is the Selector team, and this is not just empty rhetoric. A small but highly effective team of experts is behind it.
We are committed to ethical, effective, conscientious, precise, and transparent online marketing, inspiring each other and our Clients with fresh ideas, seeking solutions instead of excuses, and most importantly: we genuinely love and believe in what we create together.
It's no coincidence that among our most important successes, we also highlight how we built a strong community within Selector's (virtual) walls this year.
We are a Loveable Workplace again!
The Selector has once again earned the Loveable Workplace title this year – which looks good on paper, but it's even more important that our team members' relatives have also confirmed that the recognition is well-deserved, as they see there's truly something extra here.... :)
This year's evaluation placed particular emphasis on the collaboration of different generations within a company.
While this is an important issue (and sometimes a source of problems) in every industry and workplace, it is particularly so in online marketing. Many believe that online marketing is the domain of "digital natives," Gen Z, as they are comfortable with social media – but in reality, the combined and cumulative knowledge and experience of team members from various age groups, belonging to Generations X, Y, and Z, are necessary for us to operate so successfully.
There are younger individuals who truly grew up in the online world, are precisely aware of the latest trends on various platforms, and the issues concerning their generation, and thanks to this, they can bring original and groundbreaking ideas – and there are others who, from many years of experience as webshop operators, marketing managers, market researchers, or in other fields, recognize patterns that a professional early in their career might not initially see.
And it's also part of the equation that we work with a very diverse client base, so we need to thoroughly understand their target audiences – and the fact that we ourselves are very diverse helps immensely in mapping this out. :)
Record Number of Applicants for Our Positions: 100+ per position
In addition to the feedback from our current team, it also makes the heart of the HR colleague (who is writing this article) beat faster when they see the immense interest surrounding each advertised position.
And yes, let's be honest: the job market is a tough place (unfortunately, we can't hire everyone we'd love to work with...), but it's brightened by those moments when, instead of mere "work for money" transactions, a genuine professional and human synergy develops during a selection process. Even more so when we receive very specific feedback in cover letters indicating that we're doing something right. :)
It's an outstanding number in our company's history that over a hundred applicants applied for some of our positions within two to three days, even though we weren't listed on the largest platforms.
#m1-y#What we are sticking to, even with such growing numbers, is that we review every applicant's material individually, with human eyes, not with AI tools.##
Because there are areas where efficiency isn't everything – and where we'd rather not entrust our decisions to algorithms.
Growing Team: We've Welcomed New Colleagues!
Workplace turnover doesn't spare even the most cohesive teams – life sometimes brings goodbyes sooner than expected. This year, we also had team members we had to bid farewell to due to changes in their life circumstances, relocation, or other reasons, and we are grateful for the time we spent together and their contributions.
At the same time, 2025 gifted us with many new, professionally and personally valuable connections. This year, our new PPC specialist, Barbi, our skilled graphic designer, Zsuzsi, our fast and efficient junior web developer, Koni, and our financial and administrative coordinator, Saci, who keeps a firm hand on (and mind of) our back-office processes, joined our team.
We are proud that our team is continuously growing with new members while preserving its core values; this ensures the ease and fluidity of our collaborative work, as everyone finds their place with us by building on the same value system.
The Power of Shared Space: We Spent a Record Amount of Time Coworking Together
This year, through our "Spark Wednesdays," we repeatedly experienced the unique power of in-person meetings. We organized days when some team members traveled to Budapest from various parts of the country (from Vienna to Szombathely and the eastern region) to work together in the office. For us, this wasn't a given – as a digital agency, we didn't even have an office for a long time – so every such occasion was a truly special experience.
These days gave a huge boost to our collaborative work. Unfortunately, a Google Meet or Slack Huddle can never compete with the spontaneity of rolling over to a colleague's desk in an office chair and having a brilliant idea instantly spark. Or a perfectly timed joke…
Working in a shared space provided opportunities for lightning-fast idea exchange, spontaneous conversations, and for us to collectively enjoy the synergy of teamwork. It's no wonder these days always bring a smile to our faces and energize the team for upcoming projects. :)
Updated Equipment: Long Live the New MacBooks!
This year, Selector's technical equipment was also updated, and to our great delight, we've been equipped with new MacBooks!
As an SME, in often turbulent economic conditions, we strive to manage wisely: every investment serves to ensure that our colleagues can work with the best possible tools, with joy, create real value, and continuously develop in their roles.
That's why we prefer to invest in quality hardware and software tools, useful learning materials, and inspiring training, rather than, say, a flashy new office.
The new MacBooks are faster, lighter, and almost inspire on their own: from graphic design to web development, every idea smoothly comes to life in our hands. The best part of it all is the feeling when everyone can work at their own pace, with the right tools – because this is how truly valuable, quality work can be created.
Team Building Reimagined
This year, our team activities reached a new level: we not only organized more joint programs than before, but we also held our first two-day team-building event.
In spring, we took a cheerful hike in the awakening nature at the foot of the Pilis Mountains, concluding it with a pleasant shared lunch. In summer, we kicked off with an outdoor picnic, where a small puzzle revealed the afternoon's activity: an ice cream making workshop, where unique flavors like lavender-white chocolate ice cream were created.

In autumn, we traveled to Tihany for our very first two-day team-building event, which was particularly memorable: after a creative candle-making workshop at the Tihany Visual Workshop and a delicious Italian pizza, with the help of our Account Team Lead, Luca, we brainstormed and worked on our brand in an inspiring brand workshop. This was followed by true team experiences: we enjoyed wellness, played board games, had great food and conversations, and thanks to our colleague Reni, we even managed some henna painting. Of course, the next day, a walk around Tihany Abbey and ice cream were also a must – enhanced by a detective game that added extra excitement to the day.
Most recently, at our pre-Christmas gathering, we stuck to our tried-and-true recipe: a walk in an inspiring location (this time in Szentendre), delicious food, programs that stimulate creativity and thinking, a Selector quiz offering a bit of intellectual challenge and lots of laughter, followed by gift-giving, cozying up, snacking, and drinking in a festive mood appropriate for the holiday season… :)
One thing is for sure: we won't be bored next year either! 🙂
Final thoughts: looking back with gratitude, moving forward with momentum
2025 was full of joyful moments that we'll remember with a smile for months to come: from office brainstorming sessions to candle making in Tihany, from AI tips buzzing on Slack to creative brand workshops and detective walks. All these moments truly brought the team to life and strengthened our bond, reminding us that work isn't just a series of tasks – but a chain of shared experiences and creative energy.
As we look back at the end of the year, we are truly grateful to have such a dynamic, curious, and mutually inspiring team. We also extend special gratitude to our Clients who worked with us in 2025: their trust, collaboration, and shared goals all contributed to us realizing exciting and value-creating projects, full of inspiration, learning, and shared successes.
At the same time, we look forward with excitement: new ideas, new challenges, and new shared moments await us in 2026. Because even though the year is ending, curiosity and creativity know no breaks for us. (Okay, maybe just a little.)
With this, we wish you happy holidays too, dear Reader!
